Dr. Katrina Lundien is a Ph.D.-qualified educational director, consultant, and trainer with a wealth of experience in creating engaging and practical learning environments tailored to the specific needs of diverse audiences.

With a strong background in needs assessments and data analysis, Dr. Lundien is adept at identifying weaknesses and collaboratively devising solutions to address those needs, with a particular passion for promoting equity and accessibility in education for individuals from various backgrounds.

Her expertise extends to overseeing ESOL programs at both building and district levels, encompassing planning, implementation, training, evaluation, resource optimization, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Recognized for her leadership in program development, innovative instructional methods, policy formulation, curriculum design, student advocacy, special project management, and educator development, Dr. Lundien is dedicated to ensuring all students have access to a comprehensive curriculum.

Dr. Lundien has made significant national and regional contributions, including co-presenting webinars with esteemed scholars like Stanford Professor Dr. Jeff Zwiers and delivering impactful presentations at conferences like Cambio de Colores, focusing on academic language development for English Language Learners.

Her educational journey includes a Ph.D. in Secondary ESL-Curriculum & Instruction from Kansas State University, an M.S. Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction with an ESL emphasis from The University of Kansas, a TESOL Certificate in ESL from Seattle University, and a B.S. Ed. in Secondary Social Studies from The University of Kansas.

Having worked with various organizations, including Individual Contractor; Key Pillars Consulting, LLC as an Educational Consultant, Mid-America Nazarene University as an Adjunct Professor, Guadalupe Centers Charter Schools as an ESL Director, and USD #500 in roles such as Secondary ESL Instructional Coach and ESL Teacher/Scheduler, Dr. Lundien brings a diverse and extensive skill set to her professional endeavors.
