Kathy Hunter

Kathy Hunter is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in various roles within the education sector.

She holds a Master's degree in School Counseling and a PPS Credential from the University of La Verne, a Bachelor's degree in Education and Psychology from West Texas A&M University, where she was a member of Kappa Delta Pi and Alpha Chi honor societies, and an Associate degree in Education and Psychology from Amarillo College.

Throughout her career, Kathy has held several leadership positions, including serving as an Assistant Superintendent, Director of Student Services, Principal, Special Education Program Specialist, and Special Education Teacher at William S. Hart Union High School District.

She has also worked as an Adjunct Faculty at the University of La Verne, a Special Education Teacher at LAUSD, a Psycho-Education Specialist at Albuquerque Public Schools, and a Director of Education at Willowbrook Psychiatric Hospital.

Kathy Hunter's professional journey includes experiences at various educational institutions and organizations such as Sequoia Charter School, Valencia High School, Lokrantz Elementary School, University of New Mexico Children’s Psychiatric Hospital, and IBM Corporation.
