With businesses who employ between 1-20 employees, I will be focusing on priorities and what matters most to customers, what challenges they are facing, and sharing the value of Salesforce Customer 360 and how this aligns to business goals. I will also be prospecting and opening up new business within my assigned territory.

At Salesforce.org, I am responsible for research, identification, and generating weekly new opportunities to empower nonprofit missions across the United States.  I am responsible to methodically qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales pipeline.  In my role, I will consistently interface with leaders in the nonprofit sector, conducting high level conversations on how Salesforce can further the nonprofit mission.

Named "2020 AMER Nonprofit Business Development Representative of the Year at .org", I sourced and/or influenced $1M in ACV and $4.7M in pipe, helping to evolve how we communicate about the challenges of the industries we serve for maximum mission impact.

Business Development Representative

Raised $1M by diversifying and managing a portfolio of individual donor relationships ($10K+), increase support (4, 5, and 6 figures), designed and integrated a major gifts strategy into existing annual development plans.

-Practiced goal-oriented moves management (averaging a ratio of 4:1 requests/meetings secured) across 260 major donor portfolio ($2K-25K) and instituting cross-campaign cultivation strategies that contributed to achieving $2M event revenue, securing $20K in new corporate funding and partnerships
-Generated $1M towards an overall departmental goal of $19M in FY19, met budgeted target within my assigned portfolio in my first six months, exceeding overall revenue target by 140%, with 85% of donors giving $5K+ in FY19
-Recovered $60K in lapsed gifts through face-to-face meetings and meaningful engagement (donor participation in event committee, site visits, featuring donors in publications) in FY19, with less than 10% of donors assigned in my portfolio as having meaningful engagements from Children's Aid within the last fiscal year
-Spearheaded a revised annual appeal strategy with revamped messaging to elevate program at Children's Aid College Prep Charter School, yielding increased revenue ($13K) and response rate (55% vs. 49%) in FY19
-Designed solicitation strategies, set targets, and provided supportive research to cultivate relationships held by the CEO and Board of Trustees in FY19, totaling nearly $100K in asks for FY20 event fundraiser
-Collaborated internally with team members and leaders including Development Operations, Development Research & Prospecting, Marketing, and Program to ensure a successful donor strategy and connection to program for seamless, donor-centered cultivation

Children's Aid

Major Gifts Officer

I secured $200K+ in corporate fundraising in FY17 and $300K in FY18, including event sponsorship, corporate grants, matching gifts, and steward a young professional Board of 16 corporate professionals.  I increased renewed corporate giving by cultivating new touch points for existing partnerships, developing sponsorship packages, and secured 5 new partnerships through prospecting and cultivation.  Successfully piloted an innovative, first ever event fundraiser in FY17 by stewarding a committee of 12 corporate professionals, worked internally to design a new fundraising platform for no cost, and secured 162 new individual donors who contributed to 33% of total funds raised.  Year one, this event generated over $12K in corporate sponsorships, raised $53K with a 40% increase in net fundraising, a 11x ROI, compared to a similar fundraiser held in summer 2016 with only a 3x ROI.  Year two, this event generated over $19K in corporate sponsorships, raised $64K with a 15x ROI, an increase over year one.

Citizen Schools

External Engagement Manager-Corporate Partnership Development & Fundraising

Maintained and stewarded  a corporate portfolio of 20+ key partnerships by leveraging key relationships with corporate champions, and recruiting 75% of the volunteer pipeline to support Citizen Schools apprenticeship programs.  This translates to data-proven volunteer satisfaction with a 35% increase in positive promotion of our program from corporate volunteers in one 10 week semester.  Each component above translates to a direct line of support for 113 apprenticeships that close the opportunity gap for 7 inner-city public middle schools in NYC.  In this role, I improved partnership and volunteer stewardship systems, pioneered systems for strategic apprenticeship support, increased the number of volunteers per team from 3 to 6 for higher quality programming, identified and actively engaged 5 new corporate partners to Citizen Schools New York.

I oversaw and managed a Citizen Teacher Lead Cohort of 12 who were directly responsible for managing volunteer experience and expectations for student success, while directly supervising and managing two AmeriCorps service members and AmeriCorps grant contract.    I grew our second year pilot writing coach program by expanding our corporate partnerships from 2 partners to 5 partners and actively engaged 3 new corporate partnerships by recruiting 120+ mentors to execute the year-long mentorship program.

Civic Engagement Manager-Corporate Volunteer Experience & Program Support

As the Regional Education & Support Manager (RESM) I was responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and seeking funding for 14 annual patient and professional education programs for the New York metro area including New York City, Fairfield/Westchester, Long Island and Northern New Jersey.  In partnership with Chapter Leadership, I recruited, trained, and maintained 50+ high impact volunteers to engage CCFA constituents through a Mentoring Program, Medical Advisory/Planning Committee, Camp Staff, Advocacy Committee, and Support Group Volunteers.  I guided a 100K+ program budget and brought in over 110% of revenue goal.  I maintained 20+ partnerships with pharmaceutical companies and area community organizations and hospitals.

I personally raised over $4000 for Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, Team Challenge Endurance Program and ran my first half marathon in support of finding a cure for Inflammatory Bowel Disease

As a Community School Coordinator, I actively facilitated connections among nonprofits, corporations, and health and human services within Harrison Park School.  While building trust with parents, students, and high net worth partners, I strive to remove barriers to learning and life success, and provide experiential and extended learning opportunities.  I have gained knowledge of behavior health, child development, resource development, collaboration, and leadership.

Kent School Services Network Community School Coordinator

Assisted with the CommunityEngagement@Wayne program initiative of the Honors College at Wayne State University and the Wayne State Community of Scholars students.  Assisted in planning, developing, and implementing key volunteer engagement initiatives. I was key in helping to devise strategies and gain buy-in from faculty to incorporate academic service learning into their semester course.  Assessed and analyzed program needs and served as key Project Coordinator to ensure that service and curricular service-learning activities were performed effectively. Served as a key connector between faculty/staff, students, and community stakeholders through project planning, effective coordination, and promotion. Took advantage of opportunities to work with other institutions of higher learning (UM, MSU, Eastern, University of Michigan and others) through the SE Michigan Service Learning Collaborative and lead the coordination of campus-wide service activities, such as during freshman orientation (iStart), at Wayne State. Developed an Advisory Board for CommunityEngagement@Wayne, through extensive networking with individuals from the private, public, and non-profit sectors. Worked with the Office for Undergraduate Research to develop a service-learning track of awards for undergraduate students engaged in research on community based programs.

Qualitative content research analysis regarding the relationship the nonprofit sector holds with the public sector through e-democracy and using this to improve the transparancy and reaction time of governmental affairs shared with the public, increasing civic engagement and awareness, and improving end-user computing.  Supervised under Dr. Sungsoo Hwang.  Gained experience working with coding software called ATLAS.ti.
