Kathryn Gainey

Kathryn Gainey is a legal professional with a strong background in providing regulatory and litigation advice on cases involving federal statutes and regulations. She has extensive experience in areas such as regulatory compliance, civil and appellate litigation, rail transportation, surface transportation, and hazardous materials transportation. Kathryn has represented clients in matters before the Surface Transportation Board (STB). She previously held leadership roles as the Chair of the Transportation and Transportation Security Law Section of the Federal Bar Association and as the President of the Association of Transportation Law Professionals. Kathryn's educational background includes a B.A. in Philosophy and Economics from California State University, Long Beach, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
