Kath Angus

Kath Angus is a dedicated social change professional with a strong background in community engagement, project management, evaluation, events coordination, and communications.

She recently graduated from the Centre for Sustainability Leadership and is currently pursuing an Honours degree in Anthropology at La Trobe University.

Kath is deeply committed to addressing climate and ecological challenges and striving for a just and sustainable world.

As the Vice Chair of Eco-shout, she actively contributes to promoting environmental and social justice through outreach initiatives.

Her education includes a Melbourne Fellowship Program in Sustainability Leadership, Climate Reality Leader certification, and studies in Anthropology and Philosophy at La Trobe University.

Kath has held various roles in reputable organizations such as The Social Research Centre, Ecoshout, Beyond Zero Emissions, The Wilderness Society Australia, Australian Greens, and Live & Learn Environmental Education.

Her experience spans across international development, environmental campaigns, political advocacy, community organizing, and managing communication and administrative tasks.

Combining her academic knowledge with practical experience, Kath Angus is dedicated to making a positive impact in the world of social and environmental change.
