Kate Mason

Kate Mason is an accomplished communications and public affairs professional with extensive experience in media strategy, messaging, and storytelling. After earning her Ph.D. in English from the University of New South Wales, she worked for major tech companies as the Global Communications and Public Affairs Manager at YouTube and Google, Head of Communications and Media Relations at Khan Academy, and Head of Corporate Communications at Medium.

Kate's unique background has given her the ability to navigate complex situations, develop collaborative narratives, and create excellent relationships within organizations and with external stakeholders. Her successful career in communications led her to found Hedgehog + Fox, a strategic communications firm that specializes in helping organizations develop authentic and compelling messages to connect with their stakeholders.

Kate's educational background includes an Executive Program from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and Executive Marketing Academy at INSEAD. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) 1st Class in English from the University of New South Wales.
