Karen Yacos is a multi-faceted sustainability professional with a diverse background in community, corporate, and nonprofit settings.

Karen has a strong passion for engaging people with diverse interests to collectively address complex issues and foster a commitment to creating a sustainable future.

She possesses expertise in sustainability, climate change issues, land use and urban planning, community engagement, and corporate social responsibility.

Karen excels in program design/implementation, relationship management, policy development, establishing learning networks, and communications/marketing.

She holds a Master's degree in Natural Resource Planning from the University of Vermont, a Master's program in Computer Science and Bioengineering from the University of Connecticut, and a Bachelor's degree in Zoology from the University of Vermont.
