Lisa Prime is a senior executive and consultant with vast experience in strategic management and complex project leadership, including planning, design, real estate development, and infrastructure. Lisa has a career focused on policy, land development, smart city technology, green buildings, and community energy, among others. She has won multiple awards, including Social Responsibility and Sustainability, Green Building requirements, and sustainability policy. Lisa is an expert in ensuring that strategic and innovative solutions drive success in sustainability, leads market transformation and low carbon development through policy, guidelines, site application and collaboration.

Lisa’s experience includes senior management and expertise in strategic leadership, leveraging partnerships, negotiating, decision making with uncertainty, directing, and managing integrated teams. She has a strong corporate public image, including speaking on sustainable city building nationally and internationally, published articles on planning and sustainable city building. Lisa is an advisor to agencies, government, private sector organizations and university.

Lisa's educational background includes a Mini MBA Cycle 3 and Cycle 2 from McGill University, where she studied Executive Institute, Integrated Management Thinking and Advanced Management, respectively. Lisa also has a Masters of Environmental Studies in Environmental Planning from York University and a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Geography from the University of Waterloo.

Lisa is currently involved in multiple organizations, including Ryerson University Urban Water Board, Toronto Commercial Real Estate Women, Clean Air Partnership Board, and Urban Land Institute, among others.

Throughout her career, Lisa has held several positions such as Chief Planner at the City of Cambridge Ontario, Founder of PRIME Strategy & Planning, Director of Sustainability and Environment and Innovation at Waterfront Toronto, Planning and Development Manager at Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, Senior Environmental Planner at MMM Group, Approvals Planner at County of Simcoe and Planner of the Office of Provincial Facilitator at Ontario Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing.

Overall, Lisa is a strategic leader and expert in sustainability, with a passion for driving success in low carbon development and market transformation.
