Kamilah Taylor

Kamilah Taylor is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in technology and engineering roles.

She holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from The University of the West Indies, Mona, and completed her high school education at North Springs High School.

Throughout her career, Kamilah has held various key positions in prestigious organizations. She currently serves as the Head of Financial Products Engineering at Gusto.

Previously, she has worked as a Startup Consultant, Advisor, and Angel Investor, demonstrating her entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen.

Kamilah was also a Founding Board Member at Tech Beach Retreat, showcasing her involvement in the tech industry beyond her core roles.

Her experience at Gusto includes roles such as Senior Engineering Manager on the Banking Team, Mobile Engineering Lead, Senior Staff Software Engineer, and Staff Software Engineer, highlighting her expertise in mobile engineering and software development.

Before joining Gusto, she gained valuable experience as a Senior iOS Consultant at Krikey and as a Software Engineer at LinkedIn and Wolfram Research.

Kamilah Taylor has a rich academic background, including studying Piano, and has been involved in educational initiatives like robotics teaching at Halls of Learning.
