Research Focus
His research investigates the relationship between oppression and resistance by exploring how social movements utilize food as a means to address social, economic, and environmental injustice. His primary research project focuses on East New York Farms (ENYF!), a food justice organization in Brooklyn, and analyzes their efforts to build a community food system to address marginalization.1
