Justin Ellsworth
Commander, 6th Communications Squadron at United States Air Force
Justin Ellsworth served as the Commander of the 6th Communications Squadron at MacDill Air Force Base from June 2020 to July 2022.14 He assumed command on June 22, 2020, during a recorded change of command ceremony where he addressed his new squadron members.1 In his remarks, Ellsworth stated, "To the Airmen of the 6th CS, I look forward to getting to know you and serving alongside each and every one of you. We will continue to dominate the mission of delivering world class communications".1
Prior to his role as the 6th CS Commander, Ellsworth had experience as a recruiting squadron commander, which he described as a great experience that allowed him to see the talent being brought into the Air Force as enlisted personnel.2
After his tenure as the 6th CS Commander, Ellsworth continued his career in the United States Air Force. As of 2023, he was involved in promoting opportunities for enlisted personnel and civilians both inside and outside the government.3
