Julie Strietelmeier is a well-known tech geek who established The Gadgeteer website in 1997. With an extensive experience in consumer electronics, smartphones, ebook readers, and gadgets, she has written over 1000 product reviews throughout her career. Her love for gadgets led to the creation of The Gadgeteer, which has now become a go-to source for anyone interested in the latest and greatest gadgets. In the early 90s, she ran a successful multi-line dial-up BBS (Crossroads BBS) for five years. She has previously worked as a Software Engineering Technician at Cummins Inc. and served as a Mobius Member at Microsoft. Julie has studied an associate degree at IUPUC and obtained an A.A.S. degree at Indiana University-Purdue University at Columbus, IN. She was also the Editor in Chief at Ukulele Review before focusing on The Gadgeteer full time.
