Julie Nagel

Julie Nagel is an accomplished leader with a demonstrated history of launching academic commercialization and startups. She has served as an entrepreneur, director, consultant, and mentor for various organizations. With a PhD in Environmental Toxicology from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, Julie has an impressive educational background that includes a Master of Science in Zoology from Oklahoma State University, and a BSE in Biology from John Brown University. She has held several key positions such as Chief Operating Officer at Hafion LLC, Associate Vice Chancellor for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at The University of Kansas, and Managing Director of the Oncological Sciences Center at Purdue University. Julie's strengths lie in operations, business development, and mentoring. She has also co-founded technology-based startup companies and advised others through her consulting business, TreMonti Consulting.
