-Client Care Surveyor: trained and certified by the Centers for Medicaid/Medicare Services (CMS) to conduct federally mandated survey and certification activities, to determine compliance with requirements for long-term care nursing facilities 
-Responsible for conducting inspections to determine compliance with state licensure requirements for nursing facilities
-Document citations in legal form to provide to facilities and for public viewing
-Review facilities plans of correction for deficiencies
-Conduct revisits as needed to determine that facilities have corrected deficiencies cited at surveys
-SMQT certified (Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test)
-Proficient with QIS (Quality Indicator Survey) computer program

-Responsible for one medically-fragile, developmentally-disabled school-age child while he attended school. 
-Responsible for maintaining airway patency of tracheal tube with frequent tracheal/oral/nasal suctioning; G-tube gavage and medication administration; range of motion for high muscle tone; lifting and repositioning; and wheelchair transport.  
-Also cared for additional child with a jejunostomy tube during the 2010-2011 school year. 
-Maintained good working relationship between MESD, Portland Public Schools and Providence Center for Medically Fragile Children.
-Delegated G-tube feeds/medication administration, seizure protocols and nebulizer use to support staff.

Multnomah Education Service District

1:1 RN

-Mental Health RN at group home for medically-fragile, developmentally-disabled adults
-Responsible for ventilators; tracheostomy care; GT/JT care, gavage and medication administration; seizure care; lifts and positioning; transport; ordering and organizing house stock of medications and medical supplies
-Primary Nurse for one individual to include care planning, protocol development, and scheduling and attending of medical appointments
-Infection Control Nurse responsible for 15 clients, 10 nurses and 30 direct support staff.

State of Oregon, Eliot Group Home

-Program Nurse Manager for three years at a group home for five medically-fragile, developmentally-disabled adults
-Complete financial responsibility for the clients
-Responsible for the upkeep of the home (cleaning, maintenance, yard care) and client safety (fire drills, clearance of escape routes)
-Responsible for hiring, firing, and disciplining nurses and support staff
-Responsible for annual ISPs (Individual Support Plans), client activities, and coordination of medical visits
-Three years working various shifts (NOC, evening, day, on-call) as staff nurse
-Responsible for G-tube and J-tubes care, gavage and medication administration; tracheostomy care; seizure care;  lifts and repositioning;  and pericare
-Delegated  straight catheterization and g-tube feeding at two other homes
