Judith Tjin-a-Ton

Judith Tjin-a-Ton is a practicing general practitioner based in Gezondheidscentrum Marne in Amstelveen, where she collaborates with four other practices.

In addition to her clinical work, Judith is actively involved in various leadership roles within the healthcare sector. She serves on the board of the Huisartsen Coöperatie Amstelland and the Stichting Amstelland Zorg. Furthermore, she functions as a specialist in cardiovascular diseases as a kaderhuisarts (specialist GP) at Stichting Amstelland Zorg, with a focus on prevention and patient-centered care.

With a passion for education, Judith Tjin-a-Ton is a dedicated general practice trainer, imparting knowledge to aspiring doctors, including those at the Vrije Universiteit Medical Center (VUMC) in Amsterdam.

Judith's academic journey includes completing her medical degree (Huisarts, Huisartsenopleiding) at the University of Utrecht, further specializing in Cardiovascular Diseases at Maastricht University. She also acquired qualifications in Basic Education at the University of Utrecht and Medicines at the same institution.

Previously, Judith held positions such as Board Member at Stichting Amstelland Zorg, Board Member at Huisartsen Coöperatie Amstelland, Committee Member for Social Quality at Hartstichting, General Practitioner at Huisartsenpraktijk Frakking & Tjin-A-Ton, and Quality Committee Member for Vascular Risk Management at Amstellandzorg BV. She also contributed to training future general practitioners at the VUMC general practice training program.
