Innovation Consultant

The ABN AMRO traineeship is a management training program which consists of four assignments within different departments of the bank. 

- First assignment within the domain of Facility Management - Business Management. Hereby I had two assignments in one: I created an overview of industry trends and what would be applicable for ABN AMRO, and I did a internal project on responsibilities of sustainability projects.
- Second assignment at the Partnership Competence Centre, in close cooperation with the Innovation Centre. Here I co-created a knowledge centre about how to work with startups, what is essential in the setup and what to arrange. We also created an overview of key internal barriers which prevent us at that current time from working effectively with startup companies.
- Third and fourth assignment at Credit Risk Management Commercial Clients, Retail & Private Banking. In my third assignment I helped translating the vision of the management team to actionable projects and assignments. The fourth assignment consisted of working in a multidisciplinairy agile team on the future credit risk model.

Graduate Programme

Wrote my thesis within the domain of alliance management. I investigated how an established firm's internal alliance management should be designed, in order to smooth the process of working together with startups.

The CUOS-board acts as the overall managing body for all non-administrative student facilities. It has an advisory role towards the Executive Board of the University in matters of policy and finance concerning student facilities.

General task of the CUOS board: 
- Advising the Central Board of the University of Groningen regarding the division of €300.000 amongst student facilities in Groningen, by means of thorough analysis of financial and non-financial documents of the student facilities. Also advising the CB in terms of the policy and structure of this distribution process.

My specialization as board member was PR/Communication. Besides our general task, I was responsible for all the external communication (by means of flyers, news-updates, and e-mail) towards the student facilities. I also managed the website, which means I gained basic knowledge of the software programs Prospero and Adobe Photoshop.
