Joshua Tarbutton

Joshua Tarbutton is a design engineer with a specialization in mechanical engineering and automation, leading Bravo Team LLC. He has a background in computer engineering, computer science, and physics, supporting organizations in product development.

Joshua holds a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and pursued further education with a PhD and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University.

Prior to establishing Bravo Team LLC, Joshua Tarbutton held various roles including Assistant Director of Research EPIC, Associate Professor, and Chief Strategy Officer at different universities and companies. He also has experience as a Small Business Postdoctoral Research Diversity Fellow and in software development and mechanical engineering roles.

His professional journey includes positions such as Assistant Professor at University of North Carolina at Charlotte and University of South Carolina, as well as roles in leading projects at Mammoth Machine + Design, LLC, InsituTec Inc, Tucker Innovations, The Timken Company, Clemson University, Southern States, and Georgia Institute of Technology Economic Development Center. Joshua also served as a Platoon Sergeant in the United States Army Reserve.
