Joshua Sakhai is the co-founder of Ephemeral Tattoo, a company that developed tattoo ink designed to fade within a year.23 He graduated from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Data Science.1
Sakhai conceived the idea for Ephemeral in 2014.3 The company, founded by Sakhai and four other NYU students, raised $26 million in funding.23 Ephemeral won first place in the $200K Entrepreneurs Challenge in 2015, and in 2016, Inc. magazine named it the Coolest College Startup.2
In addition to his role at Ephemeral, Sakhai is a Thiel Fellow.45 He is known for his curiosity and tendency to question things, often asking "why" throughout his life.4
Sakhai is multilingual, with native or bilingual proficiency in English, limited working proficiency in Spanish, and elementary proficiency in Farsi and Hebrew.1
