Joshua Levens is a seasoned professional with over twenty years of experience in the public health sector and academia. Having spent eleven years living and working in East Africa, he has become a specialist in health sector development in challenging environments. Joshua has collaborated with major bilateral and multilateral organizations in the region, staying abreast of strategic shifts in health and development programming. His expertise encompasses a wide range of technical areas within the health sector, including HIV, TB, malaria, neglected tropical diseases, and health system strengthening interventions. With a Ph.D. in the History of Science, Medicine, and Technology from Johns Hopkins University, Joshua brings a strong academic background to his practical work. He has held various roles such as Manager at UNOPS - RBM Partnership to End Malaria, Global Fund Advisor at CTS Global, and Senior Program Manager at the Clinton Health Access Initiative. Joshua has managed multi-million dollar grants, led diverse teams, and navigated complex negotiations at both local and global levels.
