At Sky Betting and Gaming I was a hands-on solutions architect who built working relationships with product owners and business analysts to define in-house developed solutions. In doing this I was able to ensure the development of scalable, resilient micro-services and high-availability infrastructure collaborating with engineering teams across diversified areas of business. I developed an in-depth understanding of Kafka, OpenBet (IBM Informix), Elastic Search, AWS, Oracle DB, Vault, Rancher, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Artifactory. I also predicted possible patterns of end users by developing data models for machine learning in coordination with data science teams.

Solutions Architect

As Senior Software Engineer at Sky Betting and Gaming, I started bridging the gaps between development and operations team through automating the building, testing, and deployment of applications, using Jenkins pipelines, Vault, and Artifactory with containers on Rancher. I assessed organisational needs and evaluated industry challenges to develop most suitable solutions and tech strategy accordingly. I led the software development life cycle from design phase through to final delivery and implementation by using Jira and Bitbucket, while serving as architect and agile delivery head.  It is worth noting that I developed automation services to interact with Salesforce, Cloudera, Elastic Search, and Amazon Kinesis through API gateway by using NodeJS and Kotlin, which replaced manual processes closing compliance gaps and making our operations team more streamlined.

I ensured maximum client compliance and implemented integrations by communicating with new business accounts and account managers. I boosted the platform as an industry leader by acting as a part of the leadership team in developing technology strategy. I led number of employees, managed multi-skilled teams at head office and remotely in UK and Romania, prepared schedules, assigned duties, and developed training documentations while promoting productive and friendly working environment.

I managed all infrastructure systems, and supported and maintained the platform by using JavaScript ( AngularJS), MSSQL, C#, .NET, RESTful APIs, SSIS, SSRS, Elastic Search, Git, and Jenkins pipelines. I ensured the effective management and execution of projects within budgets and stringent deadlines by efficiently managing teams. I maintained excellent and efficient communication systems and resolved issues in a timely manner by leading the daily agile scrums with the teams.

ICT Technician

Throughout my career as a Technical Development Specialist at RAM Tracking, I directed the implementation of <a href="http://Salesforce.com">Salesforce.com</a> across sales and service teams in UK and Canada. I designed and maintained the vehicle tracking platform using PHP, MySQL, and Delphi. I negotiated and implemented high-availability Hyper-V infrastructure across the backend and tracking system.
