Josh Cosman

Josh Cosman is an interdisciplinary neuroscientist with a strong background in applying scientific knowledge and statistical techniques to develop digital assessment tools and analytics for clinical trials and patient-generated datasets.

He has over a decade of experience in leveraging emerging technologies to enhance the effectiveness of clinical trials, both within traditional settings and beyond, by utilizing mobile, wearable, and IoT platforms.

Josh's expertise spans a wide range of areas including early clinical development, patient-centered care, mobile healthcare, translational markers of function and drug efficacy, cognitive and behavioral measurement, electrophysiological and neurophysiological assessment, behavioral analysis, modeling, human factors, and task analysis.

He holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience and a B.S. in Psychology, both from the University of Iowa.

Previously, Josh has held notable positions such as Director of Digital Health Strategy at AbbVie, Quantitative Medicine and Digital Innovation roles at Biogen and Pfizer, Postdoctoral Fellow at Vanderbilt University, and Chief Scientist and Senior Scientist at Digital Artefacts.

His collaborations with experts have honed his skills and allowed him to become proficient in specialized techniques related to digital health and neuroscience.
