Josh Biering

Josh Biering is a Senior Vice President of Wealth Management at Three Bear Capital of Raymond James.1 He has a diverse background that includes military service and extensive experience in the financial services industry.

Josh graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and served as a Combat Engineer Platoon Leader in Afghanistan, where he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal.1 After five years of active duty, reaching the rank of Captain, Josh transitioned to the financial sector.1

In his current role, Josh specializes in providing comprehensive wealth management strategies for ultra-high net worth clients and families.1 He focuses on creating customized financial solutions for private and public company executives across various sectors.

Josh's educational background also includes an MBA from SMU Cox School of Business. His expertise combines quantitative skills from his engineering studies with strategic and leadership abilities developed during his military service and further enhanced by his business education.

Before joining Raymond James, Josh worked at JPMorgan Private Bank as an Executive Director serving the Fort Worth and Arlington markets.1 He joined Raymond James in January 2024.2

Outside of work, Josh is involved in community service, serving as a board member of the Folds of Honor North Texas and advocating for mental health awareness and veteran initiatives.1 He enjoys playing golf and spending time with his son, Brett, and his black lab, Teddy.1
