Josh Aller

Josh Aller is a skilled computational geometrist with over 30 years of experience in software and IP development for new applications in modeling, interaction, visualization, and photogrammetry. With a background in Math/CS from the University of California, Los Angeles, Josh has focused on team-based solutions to complex problems where known methods and design methodologies fail to deliver adequate results. He strongly believes that innovation is driven by rapid iteration, testing, and collaborative teamwork, rather than top-down design.

Josh has been the founder of Spot Vision and CEO/co-founder of Spot Metrix. His past experience also includes being a software and photogrammetry consultant at DWFritz Automation, a consultant developer at Zaxwerks 3D Software, and the Chief Photogrammetrist at Immersive Media, among others. His specialties include lean methods, mobile prototyping, and agile project management, photogrammetry, computational geometry, 3D visualization and simulation, and natural interface UX.
