Joseph Hurst

Joseph Hurst is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the gaming industry. He has worked for various companies, including Blackbird Interactive Inc, where he served as a Senior Software Engineer from March 2021 to September 2023. Prior to that, he held multiple roles at Offworld Industries, culminating in the position of Head of Technology from March 2019 to March 2021. His expertise spans gameplay programming, tools development, and engine programming across various platforms including PC, iOS, and Android.

Hurst holds a BSc in Computer Games Development with First Class Honours from the University of Central Lancashire, which he completed between 2008 and 2011. His career includes significant contributions to several released titles and a strong background in programming languages and software development tools such as Unity3D and Unreal Engine.1
