Jose Caballero

Jose Caballero is a computer vision researcher with a strong interest in modeling scarce data. He has extensive experience in deep learning, compressed sensing, and dictionary learning, applying these techniques to various fields such as social media, digital communications, medical imaging, and neural recordings. Jose joined Magic Pony Technology in 2015, later acquired by Twitter, where he focused on developing real-time super-resolution algorithms for mobile devices. At Twitter, he worked on video compression, enhancement, and machine learning for media processing. Jose completed his Ph.D. in Medical Image Processing at Imperial College London, researching compressed sensing reconstruction algorithms to reduce MRI scan time. He also holds an M.Sc. in Communications and Signal Processing and an M.Eng. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London.
