Jorge Perez-Tejada is a professional with a background in Systems Engineering, graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S.E. in Systems Engineering, along with minors in Mechanical Engineering and Energy & Sustainability in 2016.
He expanded his knowledge by taking courses in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, and Cognitive Science, enriching his understanding of systems and how they impact society.
Jorge is passionate about utilizing technology to tackle pressing global challenges such as climate change, food & water security, sustainable development, and education.
His professional experience includes roles at organizations like Noordwijk International College as a High School Teacher & Sustainability Advisor, Green Watts Mx as a Consultant, Thyssengas as a Strategic Planning and Corporate Development Intern under the Ruhr Fellowship, SOI Systems Veracruz as an External Consultant, and University of Pennsylvania - Haptics Lab as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for DARPA's BOLT project team.
