Jordan Reimer
Policy Analyst at RAND Corporation
Jordan Reimer is a policy analyst at the RAND Corporation's Defense and Political Sciences department. He holds a Master in Public Affairs from Princeton University's School of Public and International Affairs. Reimer is a Scholars in the Nation's Service Initiative fellow with experiences as a policymaker at the State Department, Department of Defense, and Joint Staff, focusing on Middle East policy, strategic planning, defense reviews, and media relations. He has lived in Egypt and Yemen and consulted on projects related to social entrepreneurship in the Arab world. Prior to joining RAND, Reimer worked as an intelligence analyst at the NYPD, specializing in counter-terrorism investigations on topics such as the Syrian civil war, foreign fighters, and illicit finance networks. Reimer also teaches conflict and insurgency courses at New York University, with a focus on the post-Arab Spring Middle East, radicalization, and political Islam.
