Jordan Miles

Jordan Miles III served as the Director of Transportation and Nutrition at Piedmont Senior Resources Area Agency on Aging (PSRAAA) from October 2017 to April 2024.2 He oversaw the direct care needs of older adults in a seven-county region, including nutrition, congregate transportation, and medical transportation services.1 During the COVID-19 pandemic, Miles also served as Interim CEO of PSRAAA.1

In his role, Miles was instrumental in enhancing services for older adults. He was involved in acquiring a fourth van to improve medical transportation for seniors3 and participated in community outreach programs like the Subaru Share the Love Event to support aging adults.4

Beyond his work at PSRAAA, Miles has been active in local government and advocacy. He served on the Buckingham County Board of Supervisors, including a stint as Board Chairman, and was President and Chairman of the Board of the Buckingham Chamber of Commerce.1 Miles also worked as a legislative advocate for the Virginia Association of Area Agencies on Aging, helping to secure significant funding for the association's members.1

Currently, Jordan Miles serves as the Director of Policy for The Gerontological Society of America, continuing his work in the field of aging.1
