Joon Hyuk Lee

Joon Lee is a well-educated and experienced business professional who currently serves as the Market Development Director for the Asian Pacific branch of the FIDO Alliance. He holds a Master's in Business Administration from Sungkyunkwan University, a Bachelor's in Business Administration and Management from the University of Maryland University College, and a Bachelor's in Information Technology from Syracuse University. Prior to his current role, Lee held several leadership positions at various organizations in both Korea and the United States, including Managing Director at NineSigma, Senior Consultant at Knowledgeworks, Senior Manager at HTC Co., Ltd., and Team Leader at TechnoValue Co., Ltd. He has also interned with the South Korea Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Lee's overarching professional goal is to address the lack of interoperability among strong authentication technologies by changing the nature of authentication through the use of open, scalable, and interoperable mechanisms that reduce reliance on passwords.
