Jonathan Smith is an accomplished lawyer and legal professional with a wealth of experience in the legal industry. After studying economics at Washington and Lee University and earning his Juris Doctorate in law from Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law, Smith has gone on to work for several well-respected law firms throughout his career.
He began his legal career as an associate attorney at Scoggins & Goodman, P.C. before moving on to work as an attorney for King & Spalding. Smith later became a partner at the law firm Miller & Martin PLLC before being appointed as an Associate General Counsel for the Atlanta Braves. He has since been promoted to Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of the Braves organization.
Smith's legal expertise is complemented by his education and interests in economics. With a deep understanding of both legal and business matters, he is well-equipped to handle complex legal issues related to sports management, contracts, litigation, and other areas of interest to the Atlanta Braves.
