Jonathan Sagot

Jonathan Sagot is a seasoned Partner in the Startup, Venture Capital and Corporate Group at Fenwick & West with a strong background in representing clients in intricate corporate matters such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, and financings.

His expertise lies in advising tech-enabled emerging companies through all stages of their growth, from inception and series financings to eventual exits.

Jonathan Sagot has extensive experience serving as general outside counsel for a diverse range of companies spanning industries like software, life sciences, digital health, PropTech, blockchain, advertising, communications, media, e-commerce, food and beverage, as well as fashion and beauty.

In addition to his work with companies, Jonathan also provides representation and guidance to angel investors, venture capital firms, corporate venture funds, and strategic acquirers involved in investments within the emerging growth companies sector.

Educationally, Jonathan pursued a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from New York University School of Law, building on his foundation of a BS in Finance from Penn State University.

His early academic journey includes studies at Cherry Hill High School East and Kellman Academy.
