Jonathan Mercer

Jonathan Mercer, a highly accomplished secondary English Language Arts, Humanities, and Music Teacher with a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Washington, a Masters in Teaching - Secondary Education also from the University of Washington, and an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Seattle Central College. He has successfully taught at several schools in the Federal Way, Kent and Renton School Districts, and Yellow Wood Academy.

With a 3.6 GPA for his Bachelors and 3.9 for his Masters, his experience ranges from being a Student Teacher at West Seattle High School, an Assistant Teacher at Northwest Center, to a Supported Employment Specialist at Northwest Center, Supported Living/Employment Specialist at Community Options. His passion and dedication to teaching are evident through his work with High School Humanities at Federal Way Public Schools and as an 8th Grade Humanities Teacher at the same school district.
