Anne Kaplan

Anne Kaplan is a dedicated 9th grade World History teacher at Shortridge High School in Indianapolis, Indiana, with a strong focus on communication, planning, leadership, and team-building.

Anne holds a Teaching Certificate in Secondary Education and Teaching, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Cultures and Politics, both from Michigan State University.

Prior to her current role, Anne has held various positions such as Humanities Teacher at Indianapolis Public Schools, Nanny at College Nannies, Sitters and Tutors, Student Teacher at Novi Community School District, and Sales Associate at BevMo! among others.

Her diverse background includes experiences as a Lead Instructor at Information Technology Empowerment Center, English Second Language Teacher at Wat Khuang Singha School, Night Receptionist at Michigan State University Residence Education and Housing Services, and Campus Ambassador at Peace Corps.

Anne has also served as a Summer Camp Counselor at URJ Camp Newman, showcasing her passion for education and community involvement.
