Jon Slusser

Jon Slusser is a prominent entertainment executive and accomplished entrepreneur with a solid background in sports and live events, boasting over 20 years of experience in the industry.

After obtaining his degree in Marketing and Finance from the University of Southern California, Slusser embarked on a successful career journey, starting with various roles at the LA Clippers before founding Hornet Inc.

Under his leadership as CEO, Hornet Inc. grew from humble beginnings to a sizable operation with over 100 employees and studios in both Los Angeles and New York.

Slusser's strategic vision led to the acquisition of GameTrailers.com, a prominent video game website, where he took on the role of CEO and later General Manager after its acquisition by Viacom.

His career continued to flourish as he advanced to positions like Senior Vice President at Spike TV, spearheading the establishment of Spike Digital Entertainment and overseeing a range of successful projects including GameTrailers TV.

In his role as Senior Vice President of Sports and Specials at Paramount Network, Slusser excelled in creating engaging live events and sports programs, further showcasing his versatility in the entertainment industry.

With his return to Hornet Inc and The Famous Group in 2019 as a managing partner, Jon Slusser continues to steer the companies towards success, managing operations and setting strategic goals for the future.
