Jolene (Josie) Turner is a dedicated individual with a strong background in developing and delivering high-quality employability and personal development programs for students at the University of Exeter. She has been instrumental in the success of the award-winning Green Consultants program, which equips students to tackle environmental and sustainability challenges in business. As the Student Experience and Employability Manager, she played a pivotal role in the Student Employability and Academic Success team at the University of Exeter, focusing on enhancing engagement and employability outcomes for students in the College of Engineering, Mathematics, and Physical Sciences. Jolene also established the Year in Industry program for Engineering, collaborated with the Engineering Industry Advisory Group, and implemented modules to enhance students' readiness for recruitment processes and increase placement opportunities. Moreover, she actively contributes to the Green Consultants team by providing technical audit training in Energy and Carbon Accounting and forging industry partnerships for internship and placement prospects. With extensive experience in Employer Services at the Penryn and Truro Campuses in Cornwall, Jolene possesses profound expertise in graduate and undergraduate recruitment, as well as student engagement.
