Johnny Hwin

Johnny Hwin is a multi-talented individual known for his roles as an artist, entrepreneur, and investor/advisor.

He has been featured in prestigious publications such as The New Yorker, The New York Times, and SPIN Magazine.

Currently, Johnny is a partner at Studio Management, an asset management firm focusing on data-driven investments in public equities and venture capital.

He is the co-founder of Thistle, a subscription-based health foods delivery company, and a singer-songwriter/producer for Cathedrals, an indie-electronic duo praised by The New York Times for blending R&B with 1980s rock influences.

Johnny's previous endeavors include co-founding damntheradio, a Facebook marketing platform catering to renowned artists and brands, leading to its acquisition by FanBridge in 2011.

An alumnus of Stanford University, Johnny studied Management Science & Engineering as well as Psychology, and launched his first company during his time there, ultimately selling it to SpeedDate in 2009.
