John Therien is a Partner at Smith Anderson and advises a diverse range of clients in various commercial transactions involving intellectual property such as corporate partnering, technology licensing, research and development collaborations, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, supply chain management, distribution and co-promotion arrangements, and strategic commercial transactions. He specializes in technology licensing and collaboration transactions and has exceptional experience working with companies in pharmaceutical and agricultural biotechnology industries, diagnostics, medical device, information, and materials technology sectors. John has previously worked with Ropes & Gray LLP in Boston and served as a Law Clerk at Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
