John Rushen
Head of Institutional, EMEA at Insight Investment
John Rushen is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the pensions investment industry.
He holds a 1st class Honours BSc and an MSc in Pure Maths from the University of Warwick.
John joined Insight in July 2015 as Head of Institutional, EMEA, where he focuses on driving business development strategy in the EMEA region and delivering outcome-oriented investment solutions for clients.
From March 2019, he expanded his role at Insight Investment Management (Europe) Limited in Dublin as the Head of Investment and also held the positions of CIO (PCF-30) & DP (PCF-39).
Prior to joining Insight, John spent five years at Aon Hewitt (Aon) as the Head of EMEA Investment Services, overseeing both the advisory and fiduciary businesses.
His career includes senior roles at Ermitage European Fund of Hedge Funds, BlackRock, and Mercer.
John Rushen's educational background, combined with his extensive industry experience, positions him as a knowledgeable and skilled professional in the investment and pension sectors.
