John North

John North is an integrative entrepreneur with a background in international strategy consulting, sustainability, and business education.
He founded Accenture's sustainability practice in Ireland and is currently the Executive Director at the Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative (GRLI).
John is a key contributor to the 50+20 vision 'Management Education for the World' and led the design of a 50+20 Innovation Cohort for Deans and Directors of Business Schools.
Passionate about making a difference, he combines local advisory work in South Africa with his international role at GRLI.
The GRLI focuses on developing globally responsible leadership and practices across organizations and societies globally, fostering collaboration in areas of ethics, responsibility, and sustainability.
John North holds a Master of Business Administration in Project Management and Finance, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Information Science, Management, and English from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit Van Pretoria.
He resides with his family in the Garden Route of South Africa.
