During his military career, John held various key positions including Colonel, Director of Engineering at the United States Army Pacific, and Lieutenant Colonel, Professor of Military Science at Northeastern University.
He possesses a diverse skill set, specializing in executive leadership, strategic planning, construction management, operations, training, administration, programming, budgeting, and current information systems.
John is a graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Building Sciences from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master's degree in Public Administration and Information Systems from SUNY Brockport.
Aside from his military service, John has also been involved in various civilian organizations such as the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 3282 as a Quartermaster.
