Derek Blumke

Derek Blumke is an accomplished individual with a versatile educational background and extensive experience in leadership, strategy, entrepreneurship, and military affairs.

He studied Leadership Development, Military and Strategic Leadership at Airman Leadership School, BA in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Michigan, Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from North Central Michigan College, and holds a Certificate in Entrepreneurship from Syracuse University.

Derek has held significant roles in various prestigious organizations, including State Adjutant & Quartermaster at Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) in Michigan, Editor for Veterans & Military Families at Mad In America, and Co-Founder of TripSafe among others.

His professional journey includes positions such as Leadership and Strategy Consultant, Managing Director of Business Development, Executive Vice President of Business Development, Director of the VITAL Initiative at the Department of Veterans Affairs, and Public Affairs roles at Air National Guard and the United States Air Force.
