John Fontana is a seasoned executive with a wealth of experience in turnaround management, private equity, and strategic consulting.

After almost 6 years as a Senior Managing Director and Operating Partner at Black Diamond Capital Management LLC, John transitioned to an Interim CEO role at Legacy Cabinets LLC, a portfolio company backed by BDCM, GoldenTree, and Bank of Ireland.

In addition to his role as Interim CEO, John serves as an Independent Board Member on the boards of Legacy Cabinets LLC, TFL Chemical Group in Switzerland, and Boomerang Tube LLC.

John Fontana is actively seeking new independent Board positions outside of Black Diamond.

His expertise lies in board directorship, private equity operations, turning around distressed portfolio companies, and driving profitable growth for consumer goods brands through sustainable practices.

John's professional journey includes leadership roles at esteemed organizations such as Yankee Candle Company, Smith Mountain Industries, and Hot Stuff Foods.

He has a strong educational background with a BA from Yale University and an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
