John Campanella, SHRM-SCP, brings a unique blend of law enforcement and human resources experience to his role as Founder and President of Campanella Consulting Group, Inc., specializing in HR and law enforcement consulting and training for organizations globally.

With 32 years at the Delaware State Police, rising to the rank of Captain and Director of Human Resources, John oversaw the HR needs of 950 employees across the state, navigating labor unions and implementing innovative operational risk management strategies.

His expertise spans executive background investigations, harassment/workplace investigations, law enforcement policy, critical incident planning/response, and organizational development, along with mitigating police/EMS fatigue and ensuring compliance.

John Campanella holds advanced training in human resource management, investigation, interview and interrogation techniques, inspections, employee benefits, research & analysis, and data interpretation, augmenting his extensive on-the-ground experience.

He is a proud member of the FBI National Academy Associates, actively engaging with law enforcement professionals globally and fostering connections with leaders who have transitioned into government and the private sector.

Education-wise, John has excelled in various programs, including a Master’s Degree in Management - Organizational Leadership with Summa Cum Laude honors from Wilmington University, solidifying his foundation in effective leadership and management practices.
