John Boggs holds a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, as well as postgraduate studies in Educational Leadership and Administration and Philosophy from the same institution. He also pursued postgraduate studies in Theology at the University of St Andrews and holds a Master of Arts in Theology from Durham University. His Bachelor's Degree is in Psychology & Religion from Houston Christian University.

Throughout his career, John has held various roles in prestigious organizations such as Associate Vice President of Student Support Services at Northern Virginia Community College, Associate Vice President of Academic & Student Affairs at Great Bay Community College, Dean for Student Success at Washington Adventist University, Dean of the School of Humanities at San Juan College, and Senior Director of Student Success at San Juan College among others.

Furthermore, John has experience as an Adjunct Instructor, Interim Student Success Counselor/FYE Coordinator, Retention Specialist, and Program Director and Instructor at various academic institutions like San Jacinto College and Houston Baptist University.
