John Avalos

John Avalos is an accomplished professional with a strong educational background.

He holds a Master's degree in Social Work from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from UC Santa Barbara.

Throughout his career, Avalos has been associated with various prominent organizations in different capacities.

He has served as the Executive Director at the Council of Community Housing Organizations, Coordinator at the National Union of Healthcare Workers, and Member of the Board of Directors at the Bay Area Air Quality Management District.

Avalos has also worked as a Supervisor for the City and County of San Francisco, Assistant Director of Political and Community Organizing at the National Union of Healthcare Workers, and as a Legislative Aide for Supervisor Chris Daly at the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.

Additionally, he has been actively involved in political roles, having run multiple times as a Candidate for District 11 Supervisor at the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.

Avalos has also showcased his skills in organizational management and community engagement during his tenure as a Political Coordinator and Internal Organizer at the Service Employees International Union United Service Workers West.
