Joerg Tewes is a well-respected technology industry veteran with over 20 years of experience bringing world-class consumer products to market. With a proven track record of managing, motivating, and inspiring global teams, Tewes has led the development and commercialization of a range of innovative hardware and software solutions. As CEO of Avegant, he raised $50M in venture capital funding and oversaw the development, commercialization, and marketing of the Glyph, an award-winning product featuring Mixed Reality Light Field Technology. Prior to Avegant, Tewes served in a range of leadership roles within the technology industry, including as General Manager of Logitech’s Digital Home unit, where he transformed it into a leading home control platform. He has also served as VP of Engineering at Pinnacle Systems, where he was responsible for the company’s consumer hardware and software development. Tewes began his career at Poet Holdings, where he built a world-class product team leading up to the company’s successful IPO in 1999. He holds a Diploma in Computer Science from the Technical University of Berlin.
