Sami Salviander

Sami Salviander is a highly experienced and accomplished Quality Assurance professional with a diverse background in both engineering and leadership. He has worked on numerous projects in various industries, including software and hardware quality assurance, Agile methodologies, information assurance, and automation. Sami has played roles from engineering to management and leadership in start-ups to large corporations, and Federal Government / DoD.

He has completed a B.S. degree in Computer Science, and a minor in Multimedia Studies at Eastern Oregon University, as well as an A.S. degree in Computer Science Transfer Degree at Bellevue College. Sami has actively participated in many organizations throughout his career, and his current role is a Senior QA Engineer Lead at Roku Inc.

Before joining Roku, he has worked in various positions from Software Process and Quality Manager (US) at Polycom to Director, Quality & Information Assurance at Vertiscale and Virtual Bridges. He was also formerly Manager, Corporate Engineering Solutions Center at Polycom, Sr. QA Engineer at DELL MessageOne Inc, and a QA Engineer at Microsoft.

Sami has also shared his expertise and experience through lecturing at institutions like Turun Aikuiskoulutuskeskus, reflecting his passion for mentoring and learning from others.
