Joel Meyer is an accomplished professional with an educational background in Community and Regional Planning. He holds a Master of Science degree in Community and Regional Planning from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with Honors from The University of Kansas.
Joel has gained valuable experience through various roles in different organizations. He currently serves as a Transportation Planner focusing on Vision Zero at the City of Austin. Prior to this, he worked as the Pedestrian Program Coordinator at the City of Austin and also as a Transportation Planner at Alliance Transportation Group, Inc. His previous experiences include being a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Transportation Research at UT Austin, an Intern at CAMPO, a City Planning Intern at City of Kansas City, MO, and a Media Relations Student Assistant at University of Kansas Athletics.
