Kimberly Vavrick

Kimberly Vavrick is an experienced digital communicator and journalist who has been working in the industry for more than a decade. She is a graduate of Northwestern University, where she earned her Masters in Journalism, and The University of Kansas, where she completed her Bachelor's of Science in Journalism and French. Throughout her career, Kimberly has been a trade and lifestyle reporter, covering diverse topics such as business, energy, survivor stories, personal profiles, and local nonprofits. In addition, she has gained valuable experience in marketing and media relations.

At present, Kimberly serves as the Senior Manager of Communications at Brewers Collective, a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch. She has also previously worked as Communications Manager at Virtue Cider, Digital Marketing Manager at EatStreet, and Communications Manager at Revolution Brewing Chicago. In addition to these positions, Kimberly has been involved with a variety of other organizations, such as Windy City Rollers, Vocalo.org, Medill News Service, and the Path to Purchase Institute.

Kimberly is passionate about data and media relations and is always excited to work on new, exciting writing projects with a focus on small businesses or the local community. She has also had experience as an intern at Chicago Magazine and as a volunteer collaborator with Chicago Public Media's vocalo.org.
