With a diverse international background in government, technology, and nonprofit sectors spanning four continents, Joel brings a unique perspective to his work.

Previously, Joel was a partner at Tribe AI, an esteemed collective of artificial intelligence and machine learning experts. Before his time at Tribe AI, he held roles such as leading business development at the Republic of Estonia's e-Residency program, managing a Rocket Internet venture focusing on the future of work and gig economy, participating as a Venture for Africa Fellow, and contributing as an early team member at a startup backed by Y Combinator and Andreessen Horowitz.

Joel's educational background includes a Master of Arts in International Business & Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Entrepreneurship from the University of Nevada-Reno.

Throughout his career, Joel Burke has been associated with various organizations and projects, including TechCongress as a Congressional Innovation Fellow, Venture for Africa as a Fellow, Tribe AI as a Partner, Sentinel as an Advisor, Charity Entrepreneurship for charity work, e-Residency for business development, Rocket Internet SE for leadership roles, Gigster for partnerships, and Inventjin for founding a spinoff lab and consultancy.
